This antique Louis Philippe vase was made with polychrome porcelain in the mid-19th century. Featuring a floral motif painting, two handles and a flared mouth, this style of vase was popular during the reign of King Louis Philippe I. It showcases elements of neo-gothic style and neoclassicism, reflecting the tastes of the French upper class at the time.
This vase shows visible signs of wear and tear. The gold painting has etched off, resulting in the pattern underline becoming visible. It is in need of a loving home that will honour the many lives it has lived!
